‘WIN A GRAMMY!’: Killer Mike wins Best Rap Song over Nicki Minaj & Ice Spice

Word On The Curb…Onika Tanya Maraj, professionally known as Nicki Minaj, has lost yet another Grammy. It’s no surprise that Nicki Minaj is one of the most nominated musicians and still hasn’t won a Grammy. The unsurprising loss comes amid the beef between Nicki and Megan Thee Stallion, but Megan hasn’t shown any interest in directly responding to Nicki.

It all started with Megan’s release of a track called “Hiss” last month, which took aim at Nicki Minaj and her husband, Kenneth Petty, a registered sex-offender.

Kenneth reportedly doubted the existence of “Megan’s Law.” In response to Megan, Nicki Minaj released a poorly received track titled “Big Foot,” which sparked criticism for the disrespectful remarks she made about Megan’s mother.

Nicki was being heavily criticized, to the extent that her fans made threats to desecrate Megan Thee Stallion’s mother’s grave in Pearland, Texas. TMZ reported the story, and, of course, blogs followed suit by posting about it. However, Nicki threatened to sue Kyle Anfernee from The Neighborhood Talk.

Although Kyle exercised his First Amendment right and had a constitutional right to report on the TMZ exclusive story, it seems like the disgruntled rapper “Barbie Dangerous” is considering abusing the court system, just as she abused Percocets.

At the Grammy Awards on Sunday night, Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice were nominated for the best rap song for their collaborative track “Barbie World.” During the Grammys‘ premiere ceremony, several awards were presented. However, there was a mistake during the presentation for the best rap song.

Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice were mistakenly tweeted as the winners, when in reality, the true winner was “Scientists & Engineers” by Killer Mike.

“Congrats Best Rap Song winners – ‘Barbie World [From Barbie The Album]’ @nickiminaj & icespicee_ Featuring Aqua,” the Academy wrote in a since-deleted tweet.

Nicki Minaj has been MIA for two days and hasn’t clapped back at the Grammy’s diss, but her loyal fanbase, the barbs, are holding it down and making their presence known.

Regrettably, Killer Mike found himself in handcuffs at the Grammy Awards, despite clinching three Grammy wins. It is unclear what the Atlanta rapper was arrested for.
