The settlement now puts an end to the potential risks and embarrassing evidence against “Diddy”. However, the damage has already been done, as the allegations became public after Cassie filed the explosive lawsuit. And seemingly, “Diddy” has admitted to the allegations, as he offered to settle and a settlement has been reached.

In her lawsuit, Ventura, who signed with Bad Boy label at 19 and dated “Diddy” for about a decade, accused him of years of physical abuse, controlling behavior, and various forms of sexual abuse, including rape. In response, Combs lawyer, Ben Brafman, vehemently denied these allegations.

Ventura’s suit, filed in Federal District Court in Manhattan, detailed numerous instances of assault by Combs, leaving her injured, as well as being coerced into sexual encounters with male prostitutes while Combs watched and recorded videos.
