‘Follow The Path’ Family Friendly House on Lake Norman is owned by Nancy Harty and her husband, Jason Harty
According to a VRBO listing, Nancy Harty and her husband, Jason Harty, invite families to rent their lake home “for a relaxing family vacation or a fun-filled weekend with friends.” However, it seems that this description did not extend to Fantasia, her family, or her son’s friends.
According to the Golden Globe nominee, the unidentified neighbors reportedly called Nancy Harty and informed her that the guests in their home were having a loud outdoor party. Fantasia disputed those claims, stating that all outdoor activities had taken place during the day, including a game truck for the children at her son’s party.
“I wanted my son to enjoy his friends (10-12) year old and make him feel special as I have been traveling for the last 35+ days promoting a movie I starred in. This time, I dare not stay quiet”, Fantasia said on X, formerly known as Twitter.

In Fantasia’s X post, she mentioned that there were “weights with balloon ribbon left in the garage from a previous party at the house.”
“It’s evident to me this was racial profiling and the treatment we received was due to the color of our skin,” Fantasia said.
According to the R&B singer, Nancy reportedly called around 11:30 p.m. about the noise complaint and ask Fantasia’s family and her son’s guests to leave the home in the middle of the night. Fantasia also stated that the Airbnb host never warned them to keep the noise down although there wasn’t any noise, nor did they show the singer any camera footage or pictures of a party when the allegations were made.
According to the listing for the home, which has been removed from Airbnb, it is a 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom property that can accommodate up to 10 people. In three of the rooms, there are king beds, while the fourth room has two twin bunk beds.
Fantasia shared photos on Instagram of seven joyful children enjoying a sip & paint activity, complete with hot chocolate. Pictures were taken on the Airbnb property, where the kids gathered around the firepit to listen to scary stories.
The North Carolina Beat was able to obtain photos of the house online, which show the same fire pit as pictured in Fantasia’s Instagram photos. and fully equipped game room in the garage as pictured in Fantasia’s Instagram photos.
