The University of North Carolina School System is reimbursing students for unsued housing and dining services, according to the UNC Board of Governors.
This decision comes because of the closing of all UNC campuses due to COVID-19.
UNC System Interim President Bill Roper made the decision during a meeting Monday with the Board of Governors.
It is our commitment to all UNC System students and parents to get this done as quickly as possible. It is also our obligation to get this done right,” Roper said. We hope to be able to announce specifics for processing and issuing refunds in the upcoming weeks.
