G$ Lil Ronnie and Daughter Fatally Shot at Forest Hill Car Wash
North Texas rapper G$ Lil Ronnie and his 5-year-old daughter were tragically shot and killed Monday, at Slappy’s Express Car Wash in Forest Hill, a suburb of Fort Worth, Texas.

Family members at the scene identified the victims as Chuckie Smith, known professionally as G$ Lil Ronnie, and his young daughter. The rapper’s aunt, Stella Houston, expressed her devastation over the senseless act of violence.
“He was a rapper. He didn’t bother nobody. He didn’t target nobody. He was a family man, and he was going around rapping, okay. Why would you target him?” Houston said.
Several witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots during the attack. Neighbor Becky Johnson described the horrifying moment:
“I heard six — one, two, three, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop — then about a few seconds later, I heard another six.”

Authorities have not yet released details on potential suspects or motives as the investigation remains ongoing.
G$ Lil Ronnie was a respected name in the Dallas-Fort Worth hip-hop community. Known for songs like Hoodfame Killuminati, Wops, and Crash Pt. 4, his music blended classic hip-hop elements with modern production, earning him recognition for his raw storytelling and authenticity.
