Police in Greensboro, North Carolina, are investigating a murder-suicide after a man and woman were found dead inside a car Saturday morning.

Just before 5 am Saturday, officers with the Greensboro Police Department came to the 900 block of Ailanthus Street after receiving a report of an aggravated a*sault.

According to police, the victim, 34-year-old Ravett Patrice Robinson, died from her injuries.

Tevin Kewann Jolly, 31, whom police say shot and killed Robinson before turning the gun on himself, died from a “self-inflicted gunshot wound.”

Sources tell The North Carolina Beat that Jolly was abusive towards Robinson.

“We cannot believe he took her from her kids like that,” the source said.

Robinson leaves behind her seven children.

The investigation is ongoing as a murder-suicide, and there is no further information available at this time.
