One man has died after he was shot by police in Hubert Wednesday afternoon.
Eyewitnesses tell the The North Carolina Beat that the man was outside shooting at people.
The man was shot and killed when police arrived on the scene.
Sheriff Hans Miller say the shooting occurred on Zachary Lane and the officer involved was not injured.
The North Carolina Beat is working to identify the officer involved and will release his identity as soon as we learn this information.
Police are still on the scene.
