A High Point, N.C. man is back in jail after police say he allegedly exposed himself near a teenager over the weekend.
Authorities say 22-year-old Noree Staton was arrested after an incident inside the toy section of a Walmart where investigators allege he exposed himself and made sexually inappropriate gestures toward two shoppers, including someone under the age of 18.
Staton is now charged with misdemeanor indecent exposure and felony indecent exposure involving a minor.

During Monday’s hearing, prosecutors reportedly told the court this is not an isolated accusation. Court records show Staton has previously been convicted in multiple indecent exposure-related cases dating back to 2023.
The allegations immediately raised concerns in court due to the location of the alleged incident and the involvement of a minor.
A judge denied Staton bond and reportedly stated he posed a danger to the community. If convicted on the latest charges, he could face several years in prison.
While Staton did not speak during the hearing, his mother reportedly addressed the court on his behalf, arguing that her son is dealing with mental health problems and needs professional treatment.
The court later recommended that Staton undergo a mental health evaluation before his next hearing. A public defender was also appointed to represent him moving forward.
