The Paradise South Cemetery in Pearland, Texas, where Megan Pete, also known as Megan Thee Stallion, has laid her mother to rest, is beefing up security to safeguard the gravesite.
The increased security measures are a response to threats from Nicki Minaj fans who are angry over Megan Thee Stallion’s recent diss against the self-proclaimed “Queen of Hip-Hop,” Nicki Minaj.
TMZ reported that the cemetery where Megan’s mother is laid to rest has notified law enforcement and added their own security personnel to the gravesite as tensions between the two female artists escalate.
The feud began when Megan released a diss track called “HISS,” taking a jab at Nicki’s husband, Kenneth Petty, who is a registered sex offender. Nicki responded with a preview of a diss track called “Big Foot” on Instagram, sparking further controversy. But Megan seems to be unbothered by Nicki’s usual antics.
The cemetery has not experienced any vandalism or destruction so far, and they hope to keep it that way. Additionally, the protection of the cemetery comes after heartbroken “barb” revealed the location of Megan’s mother, Holly Thomas.
During Nicki’s online bullying, she talked about how Megan lies, at one point telling Megan to go and conjure up her mother and apologize. The internet dragged Nicki so badly that she claimed she hadn’t been reading the blogs or the comments.
So, I guess her talking about Megan’s deceased mother is the family member she’s getting back at because Megan spoke about her husband Kenneth. Oh, okay.
Well, hopefully Nicki can ask her fans to respect Holly’s gravesite.
