Domino’s Pizza delivery driver shot and robbed by North Carolina man, suspect arrested

A 21-year-old man from Clayton, North Carolina has been apprehended and formally charged by Clayton police for shooting a Domino’s pizza delivery driver during a delivery in a Clayton neighborhood.

The suspect, identified as Jahlin Devonte Moore of Clayton, faces charges of robbery with a dangerous weapon and assault with a deadly weapon causing serious bodily harm. In response to a report of gunfire near the intersection of Brittany Drive and Browning Court around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, Clayton police and Johnson County Sheriff’s deputies swiftly responded to the scene.

Subsequently, officers were later dispatched to Domino’s Pizza on US-70 business where they discovered that the victim had allegedly been shot by Moore.

Moore is currently detained at Johnston County Jail on a $100,000 secured bond.
