Dannie Pigotte, 41, of Shallotte, was killed in the early morning hours of Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Magoo’s Sports & Spirits on Waccamaw Blvd. in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
The family tells The North Carolina Beat they’re still in the dark about what exactly led to the deadly shooting – and they’re furious that no one has been arrested.
There are eyewitnesses, but so far, there’s been zero public information released by authorities.
The family says they’ve heard nothing from the Myrtle Beach Police Department in the days since the tragedy – and the story has been completely absent from South Carolina news outlets.
