Chipotle Customer Causes Chaos Over Incorrect UberEats Order in Washington, D.C.

A double meat disaster erupted at a Washington, D.C., Chipotle location when a customer, dissatisfied with her UberEats order, took matters into her own hands—literally. The woman, upset that her order was wrong, demanded a refund. However, when the staff explained that refunds could only be processed through UberEats, things quickly escalated.

In a move that probably shocked employees, the woman walked behind the counter and began assembling her own meal, adding double meat to her bowl. The dramatic showdown caught the attention of Chipotle worker Roberto Hernandez, who later reviewed the UberEats receipt and discovered that the woman had never actually ordered double meat in the first place.

“She never ordered double meat,” Hernandez said, “yet she still went behind the counter and made the meal herself.”

Things took an even more concerning turn when the woman allegedly began threatening the staff online, with Hernandez reporting that she even made disturbing comments such as, “I’m going to come back… and take their life.” Hernandez and his colleagues were understandably frightened, with Hernandez adding that the threats were also scaring his co-workers.

The woman also assaulted an employee with her double-meat filled bowl.

Chipotle has stated that they plan to file a police report in light of the incident, and local authorities are expected to investigate.
