Word on the Curb…three middle school students in Fayetteville, North Carolina, were trying to get high before they got to school by consuming THC or CBD gummies, which led to all three of them being hospitalized.
Their conditions are unknown at this time, but police say the students were headed to Douglas Byrd Middle School when they consumed the gummies.
According to online reports, three students, consisting of one girl and two boys, are said to have consumed the gummies.
Officials said the students were transported to Cape Fear Medical Center by ambulance shortly after they disembarked from the bus.
Although the students’ conditions are currently unknown, officials say they do not believe the minors are seriously injured.
Parents were notified, and the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
