A notorious criminal from Robeson County is making headlines again, and this time it’s for all the wrong reasons. Elvis Oxendine, a convicted felon with a long history of trouble, is seen in a disturbing video assaulting a woman and verbally attacking their child.
The video, shared widely on social media, shows Oxendine sitting in the passenger seat of a vehicle, his face covered in tattoos and a blunt in his hand. His girlfriend is behind the wheel, with their child in the backseat. In the clip, the child is heard warning Oxendine: “I’m warning you to hit my mom one more time and I’m calling 911.”

Unbothered by the threat, Oxendine responds aggressively, “SHUT THE F**K UP, GOT DAMN,” before adding, “YOU ACT JUST LIKE YA GOTDAMN MAMA.”
In a further shocking exchange, Oxendine tells his girlfriend that she needs to kill the child she’s pregnant with, to which the woman says “I am.” As if the situation couldn’t get any worse, Oxendine continues to berate the woman during the livestream, calling her a “b***h” and asking her about who she was on the phone with.
“I AM ON THE PHONE WITH THE SCHOOL M**********R…STOP ASKING ME WHO I’M ON THE PHONE WITH,” the woman yells back. “AIN’T NOBODY CALLED THE LAW ON YOU, I NEED TO CALL THE LAW ON YOU AND TELL THEM THAT YOU POINTING THAT GOT DAMN GUN AT ME AROUND MY KIDS AND I GOT A GOT DAMN RESTRAINING ORDER ON YOUR B***H A*S.”
Not backing down, Oxendine responds by putting his blunt in his mouth and physically attacking the woman, punching her in the face and saying, “B***h, shut the f**k up on the phone with the school.” The child could be heard crying in the background.
The woman reminds him of the restraining order: “THEY KNOW YOU GOT A RESTRAINING ORDER OUT ON YOU…IT AIN’T NO SECRET.”
Hours after the disturbing incident, the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant for Oxendine’s arrest. The charges include discharging a firearm into occupied property and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. It’s unclear if it’s related to today’s incident.
