Police in Fayetteville, North Carolina, are looking for a stranger who put a gun to a woman’s head, got her into a car, and sexually assaulted her.

Fayetteville police say the assault happened Sunday, October 2.
Around 12:30 a.m., a car pulled up to a woman in the parking lot on Blue Street when the suspect flagged her down, pointed a silver and black handgun at her, and coerced her to get into his vehicle, according to a press release.
According to a press release, the suspect then drove the victim to the area of S. Eastern Boulevard and sexually assaulted her.
Police say after the woman was assaulted, she was forced out of the car and went to a nearby hotel for help.
The woman was randomly targeted and didn’t know the man accused of sexually assaulting her, police said.
