North Carolina Teen Michael Tedder Arrested for University of Louisville Threat

 

An 18-year-old man, Michael Tedder, is behind bars after authorities say he made terrifying threats of mass violence against the University of Louisville in Kentucky.

The arrest went down Friday afternoon in Davie County, North Carolina, when University of Louisville Police got word of threats directed at their campus. The nature of the threat has not been fully disclosed, but officials confirmed it was enough to trigger a coordinated law enforcement response across state lines.





COPS TRACK HIM DOWN IN NORTH CAROLINA

Sheriff’s deputies with the Davie County Sheriff’s Office moved quickly once the threats were traced to an address near Bingham and Parks Road. That’s where they reportedly identified Michael Tedder as the person behind the messages.

He was taken into custody without further incident and is now being held without bond as he awaits his first court appearance.

Tedder is officially charged with “communicating a threat of mass violence on educational property”.
