St. Louis, Missouri woman killed by the father of her children, Trenton Ivy, after she began dating a new man after breaking up with Trenton Ivy earlier in 2023.
Police in Missouri took into custody the jealous father and ex-boyfriend of 29-year-old Marquisha Williams, who was reported missing by her family on December 20, 2023, according to the St. Louis County Police.
Shortly after breaking up earlier in 2023, Williams found a new partner, but her children’s father, 31-year-old Trenton Ivy, did not want that to happen.
Trenton Ivy charged with Marquisha Williams murder
According to the police, during the investigation for Williams, they discovered that she was last seen with Ivy inside her 2020 Jeep Compass. According to Sandy Bagley, Williams‘ aunt, she told KDSK that surveillance footage revealed Williams and Ivy had dropped off their 2-year-old son at a daycare that morning.
Two days after William’s disappearance, on December 22, Ivy was arrested. He was arrested on unrelated charges, including the use of a dangerous weapon, resisting arrest by an officer, and fleeing from an officer in a vehicle. At the time of his arrest, the police said he was driving William’s car.
Inside the car, there were personal items that belonged to Williams. Investigators reported that those items were found to have “blood and biological material” on them. Later in an interrogation, Ivy admitted to killing Williams.
Physical altercation led to Williams death
Police said Ivy further admitted that he and Williams were involved in a physical altercation that resulted in her death. He then admitted that he disposed of her body in an unknown location.
Williams was the mother of four children.
