Employee at Central Prison in Raleigh has tested positive for COVID-19

An employee at Central Prison (CP) in Raleigh, North Carolina has tested positive for COVID-19, according to NCDPS.

The employee became ill on March 20 and was at work for a short period of time. (This is what they are saying for all employees)

They were tested on March 17 and the positive results came back on Thursday, April 1.

The employee said they were exposed to a family member who had traveled to New York recently. 

The employee has been off the job since March 20, according to NCDPS.
