Charlotte-Mecklenburg police responded to a shooting on Sunset Road at the Cookout on Sunday morning.
The shooting is now being investigated as a homicide.
Investigators say around 5 a.m. on Sunday morning, they responded to the fast-food restaurant and found 26-year-old Jaselyn Horne shot multiple times, according to WSOCTV-9.
According to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg police, Horne was shot inside the restaurant. Horne was pronounced dead at the scene.
No information about a suspect has been released.
