Originally from Walterboro, South Carolina, Young Scooter made a name for himself after relocating to Atlanta, Georgia. He quickly rose through the ranks of the Southern rap scenes.

In 2012, Scooter signed with Future’s Freebandz label and began collaborating with Gucci Mane’s 1017 Records and Waka Flocka Flame’s Brick Squad Monopoly. That same year, his breakout mixtape Street Lottery dropped, fueled by the hit single “Colombia”, which became a street anthem and solidified his reputation in the trap music genre.

Young Scooter was celebrated for his freestyle-heavy, unfiltered approach known as “count music,” characterized by lyrical themes of street life, hustle, and wealth. The North Carolina news His influence extended through collaborations with some of Atlanta’s biggest rap figures, including Future, Gucci Mane, and Young Thug.

His notable feature on the 2018 track “Jet Lag” by Future and Juice WRLD earned him a spot on the Billboard Hot 100, marking a huge milestone in his career.

  1. The fleeing assclown wasn’t killed by police. He died of stupidity when he discovered 39 is too old to leap fences like a kid. But way to whip the dumb masses into a rage. What’s it to you if your lies lead ignorant kids to “protest” violently and wind up with criminal records that will follow them for life?!
