CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Authorities and loved ones are searching for Aysia Banks, a 16-year-old honors student who has been missing from the Charlotte area since the early morning hours of Wednesday, April 15, 2026.
Aysia was last seen around 1:00 a.m. in the Clooney Lane. Her family describes her disappearance as completely out of character, noting that she is not known to party, stay out late, or leave without communication.
