Brunswick County Teacher Video Sparks Outrage After Parking Lot Confrontation
WILMINGTON, N.C. – A Brunswick County, North Carolina school teacher is going viral for all the wrong reasons after being caught on camera allegedly berating another woman in a public parking lot, behavior that many are saying is completely unbecoming of someone entrusted with young children.
The video, posted Sunday to a Facebook page called “The Nerve of You,” shows a heated confrontation in University Commons Shopping Center near Yellow Dog Discs on College Road. While the exact date of the incident remains unclear, the footage quickly spread online — and locals wasted no time identifying the woman in the video.
She is alleged to be Wanda McLamb, a kindergarten teacher at Belville Elementary School in Leland.
“GET THE HELL OUT OF MY FACE, B***”
In the video, the innocent woman is seen standing at her own vehicle, remaining calm as the teacher — wearing a burgundy shirt — steps into her personal space, points in her face, and begins yelling.
“Get the hell out of my face now, b***,” the woman believed to be McLamb can be heard shouting.
The teacher then accuses the woman of taking a parking spot, yelling:
“You think you know so damn much. You turned the corner — I was sitting there waiting on a parking space.”
Despite being aggressively confronted, the woman never raises her voice. Instead, she taps her fingernails on her car door — a gesture that appears to irritate the teacher even more.
At one point, the teacher is seen mocking the woman, repeating her words in a taunting tone before slapping the woman’s car door.
“Are you done?” the woman calmly asks.
“Are you done?” the teacher mocks back.
When the woman begins to respond — “The best thing you can do is—” — she is immediately cut off.
“SHUT UP, B***! the teacher yells.
A man then appears, walking from behind the vehicle toward the driver’s side, as the confrontation escalates.
According to McLamb’s teacher webpage, she has reportedly been employed with Brunswick County Schools for 40 years — a fact that has left many stunned.
Social media users have been quick to question how someone who allegedly behaves this way in public can be trusted inside a kindergarten classroom and some users even suggested that McLamb was allegedly intoxicated.
As of publication, Brunswick County Schools has not released a statement addressing the video.

This is why I never lived where I taught. People are too nosy and judgmental. It doesn’t matter if she’s a teacher, she’s a person.
Those without sin cast the first stone. Im not saying she was right by no means. But dang we all have those moments we are not proud of so we shouldn’t judge
Flipping out over a parking spot? I can see her being a little ticked off if she was right there waiting for the person to leave the spot in order to pull in but to escalate with such anger is definitely over the top. I’m sure there are plenty of other spots to park and from what I see she could use a little exercise and park further away from the store
This is so unprofessional. America has a killing spirit with Road rage. For this women to be a teacher for forty years I’m sure her students are very disappointed. I’m sure this women is a Mother, Grandmother and wife with the disorderly behavior. Praying for America to due away with this hateful spirit.
Everyone has a bad day. Maybe there was more going on here than a parking space. How about we give everyone involved some grace? Just a thought.
You should represent yourself no matter where are you at your a teacher and you have that type of attitude out in public you do that as well around the students in the classroom where nobody else can’t see you or hear you she needs to be fired straight up need to be fired. she don’t need to teach anybody children. You will trust your child under her no way.
Well, the Bible says, be SLOW to SPEAK and SWIFT to hear ; I do believe the Teacher got it wrong that time..May God be Merciful to all involved
My 3 children have all attended belville at some point in there schooling especially for kindergarten and this woman was my middle son’s kindergarten teacher and she was absolutely HORRIBLE I had to get my son switched from her class before I caught a case myself… she definitely should NOT STILL BE A TEACHER WITH HER NASTY BEHAVIOR
