The North Carolina Beat is working to identify the two juveniles who have been charged.
Watson was shot and killed around 12:30 a.m. on October 21 in a shooting incident on Sawyer Road near McMakin Street. The weekend of the shooting, two women, 23-year-old Jordan Sanders and 21-year-old A’Shante Freeman, were arrested in connection with Watson’s death.
On November 10, 26-year-old Kevon Terrell Hicks was charged in Watson’s murder, and the two recent arrests bring the total number of people involved to five.
Sources told The North Carolina Beat that Jordan Sanders was in the shower the night Watson and another one of her friends attempted to attack Sanders. Allegedly, Sanders then called A’Shante Freeman for assistance, which ultimately resulted in a shooting that killed Watson. (Click HERE if you missed that story)
