Clark County court officials quickly intervened to subdue Redden. At one point, Reddin was getting the best of one of the bailiffs as the video showed him landing punches on the officer. Moments later, someone could be heard yelling “call 911” as Judge Holthus was not seen resurfacing before the video ends. According to 8NewsNow, the judge took cover.
Before Judge Holthus was attacked, Redden’s attorney asked her to put his client on probation, but the judge declined, angering Redden. On April 23, Redden “threatened to bust the kneecaps” of another man, which resulted in substantial bodily harm, according to documents.
