Rod Wave arrested—again. Florida rapper Rod Wave, born Rodarius Marcell Green, was taken into custody on Tuesday, in Fulton County, Georgia, and now faces a shocking 14 charges, including aggravated assault and firearm possession, according to official records.
The arrest stems from a wild April 21 incident at Rod Wave’s upscale Atlanta-area residence, where police were called to investigate a domestic disturbance. When officers arrived, they found a chaotic scene: luxury vehicles riddled with bullet holes, a safe dragged and emptied, and signs of a possible home invasion.

According to authorities, a verbal altercation escalated into gunfire. Fourteen rounds were discharged—eleven striking a 2025 Mercedes G-Wagon, one hitting a 2022 Rolls-Royce Cullinan, and another piercing the wall of the home. One bullet’s whereabouts remain unknown.
Rod Wave’s high-powered legal team, attorneys Drew Findling and Marissa Goldberg, fiercely defended the rapper’s innocence, releasing a statement that said:
“Rod Green was a victim of a burglary and committed no crimes. How he was even charged as a result of this situation is incomprehensible.”
This marks yet another run-in with the law for the “Tombstone” rapper. In 2022, Rod Wave was arrested for battery by strangulation, a felony charge that was ultimately dropped. In 2024, he was detained for firearm possession, but the case was dismissed after it was determined he was not a convicted felon.
Despite the severity of the new allegations, Rod Wave was released later the same day on a $50,000 bond. He has yet to issue a public statement.
