Details surrounding the arrest of R&B singer Jacquees are being released.
Jacquees, whose real name is Rodriquez Broadnax was arrested over the weekend after police say he bit a female employee at a bar and tried to drive away in a Ferrari. According to authorities, they were called to the Local Tap Bar in Buford Thursday around 11:30 a.m. Upon arrival, the victim and bystanders told police that Jacquees was being “loud and boisterous”, drunk and fighting with the establishment security.
The victim who name has not been revealed said Jacquees choked her and bit her on the hand. Police said they later found Jacquees in the parking lot, refusing to cooperate and tried to flee police. One officer fired a taser at Jacquees and was able to arrest him for simple battery and misdemeanor obstructing law enforcement.
It is unknown if the victim know the singer.
Jacquees has since been bonded out.
