Police Officer On Leave Over False Drug Evidence

2013 Police officer of the year Omar Abdullah, a Raleigh police detective on leave after allegations of false drug evidence in between 12-15 cases.

He is a 15-year veteran and was paying a confidential informant for information. It is not clear as of now if Abdullah knew the information was false.
