The Deleware County District Attorney’s Office got wind of the situation after Penn Wood Middle School Principal Myishing Cox raised concerns about drug use at the school. A couple of students claimed they saw Lee passing out vapes to their peers. Furthermore, there were whispers that a student even admitted to smoking weed with Lee.

Principal Cox wasted no time and reached out to the Darby Borough Police Department, who then verified that a student had indeed received vapes and edibles from Lee. Text messages between the student and Lee discussing their edible experience was also uncovered by investigators.

Lee found herself in hot water and was slapped with charges of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and corruption of minors.
