A North Carolina man has been arrested for allegedly punching his woman in the face after she caught him cheating at a Family Dollar store in Thomasville.
On Tuesday, we published a story about this assault, which shows 34-year-old Joshua Dumas brutally assaulting his girlfriend, Whitney Nicole Dow.Â
A video we obtained shows the domestic violence in the parking lot of Family Dollar on National Highway.
Dumas was arrested Wednesday and charged with assault by pointing a gun and assault on a female over 18.
He bonded out of jail Thursday.Â
The North Carolina Beat spoke with Whitney and Dumas. Dumas said Whitney had come to his home, destroyed his property, and abused him. Whitney says Dumas is a liar and that her recent arrest was unrelated to the Family Dollar incident but an incident from September of last year regarding Dumas.
