Chileeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Word on the curb is that a girl from Robeson County, North Carolina has lost her mind. Instead of simply informing her friends and family about her miscarriage, she decided to steal photos from another mother who lost her child 8 days after birth and posted them on Facebook as if the boy in the photo was the child she lost. SMH!
Mother of child in photo says she lost her son 8 days after giving birth
Onyea Michelle told The North Carolina Beat that she was rushed into an emergency C-section at Cape Fear Valley Hospital on September 27, 2022, due to high blood pressure and delivered her son, Greyson. Eight days later, on October 5, 2022, Greyson died. Before Michelle’s baby boy passed away, she shared photos of him on Facebook.
Unbeknownst to Michelle, another woman stole one of the photos of her son and later used it to announce the death of her own child.
Who is Taharia Shaday Patterson?
Taharia Shaday Patterson is the woman. The surprising aspect of this situation is that Patterson was supposedly pregnant with a baby. However, she posted fake ultrasounds from the Pregnancy+ app. This app provides expert advice, daily articles, healthcare tips, and interactive 3D models to help you monitor your baby’s development.
Patterson allegedly used those model ultrasounds from Pregnancy + as if they were real ultrasounds from her pregnancy. The first fake 17-week ultrasound posted on Patterson’s Facebook was on September 28, 2023, as you can see below.

On October 30, 2023, Patterson shared photos from a maternity photo shoot. However, with the advancements in AI technology these days and the way photos can be manipulated, we can’t be certain if she is actually pregnant in the photo.
Patterson post Onyea Michelle’s deceased son on her Facebook page
On February 27, 2024, Patterson posted a photo of Onyea Michelle’s baby on her profile, falsely claiming Michelle’s baby as her own and saying, “I love you 4L and after live son,” among other words.
The baby was dead inside of me for 2 months
In a Facebook post on Tuesday, in an attempt to clear the air, Patterson revealed that she was pregnant and lost her baby on December 18, 2023. She said she went to an appointment, and her doctor “told me my baby didn’t have a heartbeat” and that there was an issue with her placenta.
She continued and said that her doctor had scheduled her for an induction to deliver the baby, but she did not attend the appointment. Instead, she carried on with her normal life for two months until she finally went to the hospital on February 26th. Upon discovering that the baby had no heartbeat, she informed the doctors that the baby was already deceased.

‘I just couldn’t tell Church the baby was dead inside of me’
In a text message obtained by The North Carolina Beat, it shows that Patterson allegedly told another person that the reason she used Michelle’s son’s photo was because she couldn’t tell her would-have-been baby’s father, named Chuck, that his son was dead inside of her.
‘No Apology’
Onyea Michelle informed us that she does not know Patterson at all.
“My homegirl texted me last night asking me wasn’t that my baby she posted,” Michelle said. “Didn’t know she exited till last night.”
Michelle added that Patterson has not apologized to her personally for using her son’s photo in her lie.
