43-year-old Jeronica Rogers done found herself in trouble again after she hit a mama and her 10-month-old baby in a Walmart parking lot while she was on her phone playing a damn casino game.
She was not texting, not calling—but playing slots like she was in Vegas… and then dipped off like nothing happened.
SHE WAS SPINNING SLOTS—NOT PAYING ATTENTION
It all went down in late May at the Walmart on New Bern Avenue and New Hope Road in Raleigh. According to police, Jeronica was flying through the lot in a Chevy Equinox when she slammed into a woman carrying her baby across the walkway.
But instead of stopping… she kept driving.
SECURITY CAMS GOT HER — RIMS, WINDSHIELD & WIPER GAVE IT AWAY
Raleigh PD used surveillance footage and peeped some very unique things about the vehicle such as Jeronica’s busted windshield, unusual rims, and a lifted rear windshield wiper.

On top of that, highway camera footage led them straight to Ms. Rogers.
HER CONFESSION? “I WAS PLAYING A CASINO APP”
On June 26, Jeronica called Raleigh police asking about her car. When detectives pressed her about being in that lot, she told the truth:
“I think I might have hit something… I was playing a casino game on my phone.”
Ma’am… WHAT?! Jeronica Rogers was booked and slapped with:

2 FELONY counts of hit-and-run causing serious injury

Driving with suspended tags

NO insurance

Unsafe tire violations
And it don’t stop there — BACK IN FEBRUARY, she was arrested for starving 6 guinea pigs to death. Those animal cruelty charges are still pending!
Jeronica was given a $250,000 CASH BOND.
