The toddler named J’Asiah Mitchell, 2, was kidnapped Wednesday, August 16, around 11:23 p.m. Police have not released what led to the kidnapping but said J’Asiah was last seen on Flat Shoals Road.

J’Asiah Mitchell was last seen wearing Buzz Lightyear pajamas, according to a missing child media advisory from Dekalb County’s Homicide Unit.

Georgia Bureau of Investigation said J’Asiah’s case did not prompt an Amber Alert because “it did not meet the criteria.” However, did not specify what criteria were not met.

Police are asking anyone if they see J’Asiah, to call 911.
