Authorities have arrested 48-year-old Shahidah Burrows in the shooting death of. DoorDash driver Samori Husamudeen.
Burrows, a Spring Lake resident, was apprehended in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and has been extradited to North Carolina. She faces charges of accessory after the fact and felony obstruction of justice. Burrows is currently held at the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $100,000 secured bond.
The incident occurred on December 26, 2024, at the McDonald’s located at 5009 Santa Fe Drive in Fayetteville. Husamudeen, 25, was shot multiple times by 25-year-old Kevin J. Holland, a McDonald’s employee, following a dispute.
Husamudeen was pronounced dead at the scene. Holland was arrested shortly after the incident and charged with first-degree murder.

Investigations revealed that Burrows, who also worked at the McDonald’s, was present during the shooting. Surveillance footage showed her grabbing a napkin and collecting shell casings from the scene.
