Authorities in Fayetteville, North Carolina, are investigating a deadly shooting inside a McDonald’s on Santa Fe Drive. The incident occurred after an argument escalated, leading to an employee pulling out a gun and fatally shooting a DoorDash driver, who has been identified as 25-year-old Samori Abdulsalaam Husamudeen.
According to the Fayetteville Police Department, officers responded to the shooting shortly after 8:15 p.m. The DoorDash driver, Husamudeen, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The McDonald’s employee, who has been identified as 25-year-old Kevin J. Holland, fled the scene and is currently being searched for by police. Authorities have not released any additional details about the circumstances of the argument.
Police said Holland is wanted for first-degree murder and is armed & dangerous.
