Alleged Murderer Arrested for Fatal Shooting of DoorDash Driver at Fayetteville McDonald’s

A 25-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the fatal shooting of a DoorDash driver inside a McDonald’s on Santa Fe Drive in Fayetteville. The victim, identified as Samori Abdulsalaam Husamudeen, tragically lost his life during an altercation with the suspect, Kevin J. Holland.

The deadly incident occurred during what has been described as a heated argument between Husamudeen and Holland inside the popular fast-food restaurant. During the confrontation, Holland allegedly pulled out a firearm and shot the victim.

According to the Fayetteville Police Department, officers responded to the shooting shortly after 8:15 p.m. Husamudeen, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Holland was taken into custody in Spring Lake, North Carolina. The department spotted him near a Walmart shortly before 1 p.m. Friday afternoon.

He is expected to make a first court appearance next week and the investigation is ongoing.
