Raleigh park assault suspect
It seems the jogging trails in Raleigh aren’t safe from the latest creature on the prowl. An 18-year-old identified as Jacarri Adarriss Powell has been arrested after police say he engaged in downright disturbing behavior at Lake Lynn Park—behavior that has now landed him with multiple misdemeanor charges.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, on Tuesday around 5:18 p.m., officers responded to reports of an attack at the Raleigh park assault suspect. A female jogger told authorities she had been inappropriately touched by an unknown suspect, without her consent.
Court documents reveal Powell was also hit with an additional charge on Wednesday after another victim came forward with a claim. The warrant alleges Powell jumped on the woman’s back and made humping gestures—without her consent.

Powell was slapped with two counts of misdemeanor sexual battery and issued a $2,000 secured bond—$1,000 for each charge. However, in what will come as no surprise to anyone familiar with the Wake County justice system, Powell has already bonded out and is free to roam once again.
“Creature looking” is in quote marks in the heading, but there was no mention of it in the article. Did the victim call him that? Just wondering. Former journalist asking.
Your story is inflammatory. Attacking his looks is not necessary. Focus on the facts. This person did a bad thing and should not have received bail. That is the real issue here. He is a danger to society. As a woman, his looks are the least of my concerns. Thankfully he is unique looking and easy to spot. Do a better job of sticking to the facts and calling for harsher laws and standards, leave your derogatory commentary out.
Right! Please be respectful. He cant control how he looks but he can control those hideous actions.
