The death angel is in South Carolina. Too many people are losing their lives there, and they are people that we love, follow, and make us laugh and smile daily. Again, another tragic death has hit the Columbia, South Carolina, area hard.
A shooting at an apartment complex off Broad River Road in Columbia Saturday morning has left 39-year-old Travis Taylor dead.
Travis was a viral social media influencer on TikTok with a following of 274.9K followers.
According to Richland County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the 1200 block of Metze Road, a little north of St. Andrews Road off of Broad River Road, around 5 a.m. to reports of shots fired.
Upon arriving at the scene, deputies found Travis lying on his face in an apartment building hallway with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.
Travis was taken to a local hospital, where he died.
Richland County Sheriff’s Office has not released further information about the shooting.
No suspects or persons of interest have been released.
