SECOND OFFICER APPEARS TO INTERVENE
As the struggle continues, a second Shelby police officer arrives and can be heard repeatedly shouting:“I got her!”“I’ve got her!”Video shows the second officer attempting to gain control of Moore’s arms and assist in the arrest.However, locals point out that Hyder’s punches continued even while the other officer was actively trying to detain Moore.For many who have watched the footage, that detail has become one of the most troubling aspects of the incident.
SHELBY POLICE CHIEF CALLS VIDEO “DISTURBING”
