Prophet Brian Carn of Kingdom City Church in Charlotte, N.C., and Jacksonville, FL, is catching major heat after a recent church service went viral. In it, the self-proclaimed prophet straight-up tells a woman in his congregation to sell her house in 90 days… and hand the tithe from the sale directly over to him.
Carn said on stage while delivering what he framed as a direct “word from God”:
“I want you to wait 90 days from this prophecy… After them 90 days, I want you to position your house, get it ready to sell this property… After you put up a [For Sale sign], come see me. I’m gonna [tell you what to do]. You’re going to sell it. And you’re going to bring me the tithe. You’re going to bring me the money. You hear that? ‘Cause you ain’t going to sell it if you ain’t bringing me no money. Amen.”
The woman stood there receiving the prophecy as Carn promised her divine blessings in return.
The Charlotte pastor already pleaded guilty earlier in 2026 to IRS obstruction involving over $600K in unpaid taxes on $1.4 million in income.
His sentencing is set for April 30, 2026.
