Four individuals have been apprehended in connection with the tragic death of Semar Barbour, a 19-year-old teenager from Durham, last year.
In case you need a refresher, we covered the story last year when Barbour was reported missing and subsequently discovered deceased from gunshot wounds inside his burgundy 2011 Chrysler 200 in Morrisville, North Carolina on November 13. Authorities noted that he was found in the backseat, appearing as if he was asleep.

Four people charged in murder of 19-year-old Semar Barbour
On April 19, the Durham police announced that Phillip Maurice Williams Jr., 18, Nakia Montell Williams, 48, Theodore Cash, 68, and Shelia Frazier Cash, 68, all from Durham, were arrested in Barbour’s murder.
Phillip Williams Jr. and Nakia Montell Williams are facing charges of murder and conspiracy to commit murder, while Theodore Cash and Shelia Frazier Cash are accused of being accessories after the fact of murder.
Barbour was killed in a different location from where his body was found
After Barbour went missing, his family and friends organized a search in Durham.
Several weeks later, residents in Morrisville notified the authorities about an individual discovered in a vehicle, ultimately resulting in the location of Barbour’s deceased body several miles from Durham.
The investigation is ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding Barbour’s murder.
