Yo Gotti’s brother, Anthony “Big Jook” Mims, was shot and killed outside Perignons Restaurant and Event Center in Memphis, Tennessee on Saturday afternoon.

Police in Memphis reported that they responded to a shooting on Saturday afternoon and discovered that his brother, Anthony “Big Jook” Mims, shot dead. According to TMZ, the shooting could be related to the 2021 murder of rapper Young Dolph, with whom he and Yo Gotti had a feud.
Fox 13 Memphis reported that five police sources informed them about the shooting death of Anthony “Big Jook” Mims, the brother of Yo Gotti, outside a restaurant not far from Yo Gotti’s own restaurant and the site where Young Dolph was fatally shot. Police said they responded to the restaurant on the 6300 block of Winchester Road around 4:15 p.m.
Another man injured in the shooting and rushed to the hospital
Memphis police reported that another man was also shot in the incident and was taken to St. Francis Hospital by a private vehicle. He is listed in critical condition.
Big Jook was closely associated with Yo Gotti and was affiliated with Gotti’s record label, Collective Music Group. According to online reports, Big Jook was attending a funeral for a relative when the shooting occurred.
No suspects
Memphis police stated that they have reviewed video surveillance footage but are unable to identify the suspects.
