Woman Killed at Woodforest National Bank Inside Lumberton Walmart; Suspect on the Run
On Friday afternoon, Brandy Olson, 42, was tragically shot and killed at the Woodforest National Bank inside a Walmart on the 5000 block of Fayetteville Road in Lumberton, North Carolina.
Police Respond to Shots Fired at Walmart
Authorities were responded to the shooting around 3:45 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found Olson suffering from a gunshot wound inside the bank. According to officials, bystanders attempted life-saving measures before she was transported to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Suspect Fled the Scene
Police reported that the suspected shooter fled the scene immediately after the incident. The Lumberton Police Department is working closely with the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office and federal agencies to investigate the shooting.
