It’s giving scandalous and downright disgraceful. Former Raleigh Police Officer Tremale Stephon Cogdell, 28, is now facing serious felony charges after allegedly trading a sexual favor for letting a suspected drunk driver slide — while on the clock and in uniform.

According to court documents, the shocking incident went down on September 12, 2025, during a traffic crash investigation in Raleigh. Instead of conducting an DWI investigation,  Cogdell allegedly pulled the most unprofessional move in the book — skipping the arrest and chauffeuring her to his personal home in a city-issued patrol car where the two allegedly had sex.
