Suspect Arrested in Death of Heather Williams, Found Dead in Fayetteville Woods
A suspect has been arrested in connection with the tragic death of Heather Williams, a 25-year-old Fayetteville woman who was reported missing earlier this month and later found deceased in a wooded area.
Fayetteville Police announced Thursday the arrest of 30-year-old Tyrell Siermons, who has been charged with first-degree murder in Williams’s death.
Authorities say Williams was last seen on the night of January 4, 2025, getting into a car along Berkshire Road.
Three days later, a missing endangered person alert was issued for Williams due to her cognitive impairment. Her family disclosed that she had limited use of her right leg and arm and walked with a noticeable limp.
Tragically, less than a week after she went missing, Williams’s body was discovered in the woods on January 10, with her death officially ruled a homicide.
