Stabbing at North Forsyth High School Prompts Law Enforcement and EMS Response
FORSYTH COUNTY, N.C. – The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Tuesday that a stabbing took place at North Forsyth High School, leading to a rapid response from law enforcement and emergency personnel.
Deputies with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, along with officers from the Winston-Salem Police Department, responded to the campus after EMS units were dispatched earlier in the day.
Officials stated that parents and guardians of students have been notified, and the school district is continuing to share updates directly with families.
Authorities also confirmed that the school is not on lockdown and that there is no active threat to the public at this time.
During the official press conference just moments ago, Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office Chief Kimbrough confirmed that one student has died as a result of the stabbing at North Forsyth High School.
