A North Carolina pastor has been caught in yet another lie. This time, it’s about a charge from last year that he was picked up on by the Raleigh Police Department last week. However, according to Bishop Gregory O’Brian McCrae, pastor of Victory Deliverance Center, INC. in Benson, the charge is from 2016 – which is false.
The next day, after McCrae was arrested, he took to Facebook and falsely claimed that the charge was from September 18, 2016. However, according to the police warrant obtained by The North Carolina Beat, the date of the offense was actually September 8, 2023.
What was Bishop Gregory O’Brian McCrae charged with?
Raleigh Police charged McCrae with one count of obtaining property by false pretenses “with the intent to cheat and defraud $1,500 from Truist Bank/Kara Ashland Snow.” Police warrants stated that McCrae opened a bank account at Truist Bank, and another co-defendant deposited fraudulent checks into the account at the bank’s location in Garner.

The Devil Lost Again!!!!
In a misleading social media post on Facebook by McCrae posted on July 19, he wrote that nine years ago he went to prison and that “last night they tell me we have a warrant for your arrest”, referring to the charge of obtaining property by false pretenses.
“I told the lady maam you joking. She says yes September 18 2016 and it looks like you wasn’t served, “McCrae claimed the woman said.
He continued to say “just know the devil had a plot but God had a plan……”and included a mugshot of younger version of himself, attempting to validate his lies about the charge being from 2016.

McCrae is no stranger to The North Carolina Beat. Last December, we wrote a story about him disrespecting one of his ushers and messing around with one of his former adjutants. (Check out the story below)
