A disturbing incident has led a North Carolina mother to file a police report against 30-year-old Courvoisier Rasheed Lineberger, alleging he inappropriately touched her 13-year-old daughter. Candias Mcclain, the victim’s mother, shared her story with The North Carolina Beat.
Candias said she was at home playing spades on Saturday, Nov. 2, when her oldest son came and asked if she knew that a “guy named Vossi“ had touched her 13-year-old, whose name will not be disclosed. The house where the alleged abuse took place belonged to a woman named “Tiger” who’s real name is Teresa Ann White, the victim’s best friend’s mother.
During our brief investigation, we found that White is also a bail bondsman with McConnuighey Bail Bonds, according to records from the North Carolina Department of Insurance.
Candias said a girl who had lived with White at one point was friends with Lineberger, which explains why he was over White’s home. Upon learning of the allegations, Candias immediately called White, asking why she had not told her about Lineberger allegedly touching her child.
I called her and said, ‘Why didn’t you tell me that this guy named Vossi molested my daughter?’ and she was like, ‘Hold the f*ck up, first of all, don’t call my phone like that,'” Candias explained. “I told her, ‘You don’t tell me how to feel. You’re a f*cking adult—why wouldn’t you tell me?'”
Candias stated that her daughter needed to use the bathroom when Lineberger allegedly followed her inside. She claimed that Lineberger exposed himself, placed her daughter on the sink, and allegedly began kissing her 13-year-old daughter’s body inappropriately.
A Frustrating Encounter with Tiger
Candias said she hung up the phone on White. The next day, Nov. 3, Candias learned of a group chat that had been created to discuss the incident. However, even after their phone call the day before, Candias said that instead of reaching out to her, White continued to contact her 13-year-old daughter.
When Candias and White finally spoke on civil terms, Candias said White explained that the reason she didn’t tell her what allegedly happened was because she had “handled it.” However, Candias felt that White should have still told her, even if she claimed to have “handled it.”
“I told her, ‘You were still supposed to let me know because the way you handled it isn’t the way I would handle it,'” cANDIAS said she told White.
To us it sounded like a cover-up behind the phrase “handled it.”
Disturbing Evidence of Online Messages
Candias said she went to the Kings Mountain Police Department and filed a police report against Lineberger the following day, Sunday, Nov. 3. According to a police report obtained by The North Carolina Beat, the incident occurred on October 4, 2024, at White’s house on Grace Street.
According to Candias, detectives recovered her daughter’s phone after Lineberger allegedly sent her daughter photos and videos of other young girls.
“The reason they took her phone is because Vossi was sending my daughter videos of him sleeping with other young girls,” Candias said.
In Facebook messenger messages obtained by The North Carolina Beat, a Facebook user named “Vossy Lineberger” is allegedly messaging the 13-year-old daughter. The messages don’t have a date, but at 1:53 a.m., Lineberger allegedly sends a rolling eye emoji in response to a question mark from the 13-year-old.
Lineberger allegedly messages back, saying, “It’s smoke or something,” to which the 13-year-old asks, “What are you talking about?” Lineberger then responds, “Just asking lol… I can’t text you?” The 13-year-old asks why he is messaging her “anyways,” and Lineberger allegedly hearts her message.
He then points out that she accepted his request, suggesting that he didn’t know they still had a “problem.” The 13-year-old explains that she accepted it because “it’s Facebook, and I don’t use it.” Lineberger allegedly sends a rolling eye emoji, and the 13-year-old responds with a long message saying she felt like what he did was wrong.
“I also feel like you should’ve never done it in the first place because you’re a grown-a*s man and I’m a little-a*s girl, and I know that you know it’s wrong… you just won’t admit it,” the 13-year-old said in the Facebook messages to Lineberger.
Candias’s 13-year-old daughter continued and said “You literally got a whole daughter, & you fw little a*s girls… ts not coo. Ian tell anybody but Mama Tiger, but you still wrong asfk & and you needa grow tf up.”
It’s so many holes in this situation it’s ridiculous! Everybody in that house lying and need to go to jail!!! That poor damn child smh! I hate it when they lose their innocence in this matter. Even she the little girl knew that was wrong smh. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 And Gerald you kept saying “victim “ and the daughter. Which i believe you meant the suspect.
