The Onslow County Sheriff’s Office and Jacksonville Police Department executed a search warrant Tuesday at a home on Sweet Gum Lane in Richlands, North Carolina.
Sources exclusively told The North Carolina Beat that officers were seen going in and out of a residence believed to belong to Manley Moore, a former teacher at Northwoods Park Middle School.
This comes just weeks after The NC Beat published a story on October 10, 2025, revealing allegations from a mother who said Moore sent inappropriate TikTok messages to her 14-year-old daughter.
According to the mother — who wishes to remain anonymous — Moore engaged in a series of unsettling text conversations with the teen. The mother provided The NC Beat with 22 screenshots of exchanges.
The content of those messages has raised serious concerns about boundaries and potential grooming behavior.

The sheriff’s office confirmed that both their agency and Jacksonville Police were executing a search warrant at a residence but did not disclose who the home belonged to.
One of our sources captured a photo of law enforcement vehicles outside, including outside which matches publicly available Google images of Moore’s address.
As of now, it remains unclear if Moore was at the home during the raid, whether any arrests have been made, or the exact basis of the search warrant.
We’ll let you know if we hear anything else.
