Low pressure system forming near south-southeast of Wilmington according to NHC

Monday, The National Hurricane Center says a low-pressure system located near south-southeast of Wilmington, North Carolina has a 70% chance of becoming a cyclone in the next 48 hours.

“A Tropical depression is likely to form within a day or so while the system moves northeastward, near but offshore of the southeastern coast of the United States, and then away from land, the NHC said.”
