WILMINGTON, N.C. — A 20-year-old Wilmington woman has been arrested and charged in connection with one of two separate stabbings that occurred early Easter Sunday morning in downtown Wilmington.
According to the Wilmington Police Department, Jazya Muldrow-Green was arrested and charged with Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury, a felony.
On Sunday, April 5, 2026, at approximately 2:12 a.m., officers responded to a fight in the 0 block of North Front Street. They located a 22-year-old woman suffering from severe stab wounds. She was transported to Novant New Hanover Regional Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

UNRELATED TO FATAL STABBING
This stabbing is not connected to a separate stabbing that occurred just two minutes earlier in the 100 block of North Front Street. In that unrelated case, two adult men were stabbed. One of the victims, 21-year-old Marine Daniel Montano, later died from his injuries.
