Durham NC Shooting Linked to Gracie Landa
Authorities allege that Gracie Landa is connected to the May 30, 2025 murder of Christopher Piedrasanta-Perez, 23, a FedEx worker and DoorDash driver.
Investigators say Piedrasanta-Perez was sitting in a car near Whippoorwill Park with two women when gunmen opened fire from the woods, killing him instantly with a headshot. The two women were injured, and over 40 shell casings were recovered from the scene.
Gracie Landa’s Arrest
Gracie Landa appeared in Durham County Court on August 20, 2025, where she was denied bond. Her next court date is set for September 11, 2025.
Police have not yet revealed Landa’s exact role in the ambush, but sources close to the investigation indicate that a romantic dispute triggered the fatal confrontation.
